Our Story

Specialized Diesel and Conversions was formed in 2010 and is formally known as Sno-Valley Diesel. Its founder, Steve Sloate, started working from a service truck, performing mobile diesel repair work on trucks and equipment. Shortly after that, he found that there was a high demand for the repair of light-duty pickups and the growing popularity of diesel pickups. At first, Steve was serving clients in a small shop known as Sno-Valley Diesel and located outside of town, but now, he has moved to a much larger shop in Monroe in order to have the space to meet the needs of larger customer demand. His passion for building and restoring trucks for customers led to the development of Specialized Diesel and Conversions.

In April of 2017, a friend of Steve by the name of Mark Adams took over the business. Mark has been gaining experience in the diesel industry since 2005, and today, his knowledge of it is still expanding as diesel trucks evolve.

Mark has a passion for making trucks enjoyable to drive and strives to do quality work every time. His passion is what drove him to go into business in the diesel industry.

Specialized Diesel and Conversions still lives up to its name, specializing in providing quality repair and upgrade services for all light-duty diesel pickups and conversions.
